Bethel can be described as a city lying adjacent to ‘west coast’ of Alaska, US.

Bethel stands at the distance of 540 Km on the western side of Anchorage. An interesting part of this city is that it’s accessible just by river and air. As such, it’s a major port on ‘Kuskokwim River’. Moreover, it’s transportation as well as an administrative hub for 56 hamlets present in Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta.

Bethel happens to be the biggest community all over western Alaska. It also enjoys the pride of being the ninth biggest in state.

Yearly events which take place in Bethel are inclusive of the ‘Kuskokwim 300’, dogsled race, and a conventional dance festival that gets held every spring.
