The Tongass National Forests
The forests is a home for around 75,000 people who are very much dependent on the land for their daily lives.There are many tribes from the Native tribes like the Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian. The name Tongass is after the Tongass group from the Tlingit tribe. The nearest city from the forest is the Ketchikan. The forest has a beautiful wildlife for the Kayaking Adventure.There are seals, porpoises,sea lines and various other species of sea birds which can be observed here. The fee for the entry per person for 5 and half hours is $124.89.
The Glacier Bay National Park
The park is situated in the southeast Alaska which is around 60 miles west of Juneau, the nearby places are Gustavus which is about 11 miles away from the park. The park offers activities like glacier bay tour by a boat, whale watching, wildlife viewing, boating, fightseeing, kayaking, fishing and photography apart from these the park also offers ranger programs.
