Elmendorf Afb: Attractions and more...
Elmendorf AFB, along with the towns which surround it, is an ideal event venue. It serves the purpose with regards to any event. All one needs to do is to mention the event. For example, if one intends to have a family reunion/class reunion, a party hall can be found adjoining Elmendorf AFB. Overnight rooms would also be made available for outstation guests. Out of loads of places which are worth visiting, at least two need to be mentioned. They include:
Crooked Creek Retreat “The Retreat”
The Retreat happens to sit on ‘Crooked Creek; which is located at the center of Peninsula. One can have a glimpse of wild-life, staying at this Retreat, as tours are arranged for the same. One can also try out fishing and go for raft trips.
Chilkoot Charlie’s
This venue comprises of in-house catering, in collaboration with New York Grill of Sal. The good news about Chilkoot Charlie’s is that it is entitled to have worked as outside caterer (of your choice) as well. Sal’s Grill remains open for all 7 days of the week. Nearly any room within the bar can be made available, at any time.
