Fairbanks has the local public transportation service which is run by the Metropolitan Area Commuter System (MACS), this is operated by the boroughs. There are few agencies for automobile rental, which are found in the workstation. In between the city and the airport there are taxis, buses and shuttle transportation which are easily available. The city’s highways are interconnected to Anchorage in Canada.
