Pioneer Memorial Park is the sole ‘Historic Theme Park in Alaska.

In the year 1960, pioneers with respect to Alaska went on to request public land. The proposal was presented to State of Alaska with the objective of creating one of the tourist attractions which showed historical exhibits of Alaska. This led to the formation of Pioneer Memorial Park, Inc.
