A place called the Davidson Glacier is just about 26 miles away from Skagway.
This glacier can be seen towards the south down the Lynn Canal on the side of the mountain.
Another thing that is pretty attractive about this place is the Upper Dewey Lake.
This is a hiking trail which can be enjoyed. Skagway has some historic monuments as well.
Some of the popular and mostly visited places are Captain William More Cabin, Trail of ’98 Museum, Skagway Museum and Archives and Corrington’s Museum of Alaskan History.
Towns that are close to Skagway are Juneau, Hyder, Sitka and Kitchiken.
Some of the most widely enjoyed festivities here are International Mini Folk Festival, Annual Chamber Luncheon and Yukon Trade Show.
The International Mini folk Festival happens only for a day and people really enjoy listening to music in this festival.
