Curecanti National Recreation Area is a popular tourist spot in Colorado, USA.

Curecanti National Recreation Area was established on 6 February 1965 and is known for the three reservoirs built on the Gunnison River. The Blue Mesa Reservoir is the largest fishery for Kokanee Salmon in America. The tour of the upper Black Canyon, which begins at the Morrow Point Boat Tours, is a memorable one with scenic beauty all around. The importance of this recreational area has been enhanced after the discovery of dinosaur fossils. There is a range of outdoor activity in the region that includes camping, hiking, boating, fishing, bird watching, hunting and so forth.

The major tourist attractions in the neighbouring area are the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Colorado National Monument and Mesa Verde National Park.
