Big Cypress National Preserve in Florida, USA is a great place to enjoy a holiday. |
| Attractions and things to do |
Established on 11 October 1974, the Big Cypress National Park is one of the first national parks in United States of America. The swamps in this park are the biggest attraction here because they house several endangered species of wildlife like the Florida sandhill crane, cottonmouth (snake), eastern diamondback rattlesnake and the Florida panther.
The Big Cypress National Preserve has provisions for outdoor activities like hiking and canoeing. Winter being cool and dry is the busiest, although it is the best season to make a trip to the park. Deep Lake and Gator Hook Hike are other attractions worth visiting. This place with its small water bodies, lush greenery, and several varieties of plants and animals is a paradise for nature lovers.
