New Hampshire has an area of 24,239 sq km and a population of more than 1.2 million people. Its capital city is Concord.

New Hampshire is a state in the New England region of north-eastern USA. It is bounded by the Canadian province of Quebec in the north and northwest, Massachusetts in the south, Vermont in the west and the Atlantic Ocean in the east. New Hampshire has the shortest ocean coastline of any US state. Major rivers include the Merrimack River and the larger Lake Winnipesaukee in the central region of the state.
