The Superstition Mountains is also known by name, “the Superstitions” or”the Supes”. These are a range of mountains in Arizona, to the east of the Phoenix metropolitan area. They are anchored by Superstition Mountain, a large mountain, a famous recreation destination for Phoenix residents. With a desert climate, the Superstition Mountains has high summer temperature and perennial sources of water. Here, Weaver’s Needle, a popular hiking destination, is a good landmark and also a rock climbing destination set behind. The mountains are a popular trail leading up the Freemont Saddle, offering picturesque formation in the wilderness.
