Cave Creek Museum

The ‘Cave Creek Museum’ goes on to display artifacts pertaining to pre-historic times. These artifacts would apprise the visitors regarding mining and ranching taking place in that century. Mission of Cave Creek Museum is to have preserved artifacts of pre-history, legacy, and culture of cave Creek foothills region via interpretive exhibits, research, and education.

Cave Creek Mistress Mine


Cave Creek Mistress Mine can be referred to as an ancient gold mine of the 19th century (1883 to be precise). It contains a museum which displays age-old mining equipment and tools. ‘cave Creek Mistress Mine’ is amongst the working mines, which still goes on to mine by hand, much similar to the way it used to be done in the late 19th century.
