Casa Grande Ruins National Monument
Casa Grande Ruins National Monument comprises of ruins of ‘multiple’ structures bounded by a composite wall which had been built by Hohokam. He was the person who went on to farm ‘Gila Valley’ in early twelfth century. ‘Casa Grande’ is a Spanish term for ‘huge house’. This name, in fact, refers to the biggest structure on site. Caliche is the material used for making this structure.
Casa Grande Ruins National Monument contains proper visitor center. It apprises the visitors about Hohokam people. On the outer side, loads of huge specimens of ‘desert plants’, inclusive of ubiquitous saguaro are found.
Wild Planet Paintball Park
Special events can be organized at this place. The facilities provided include private course, public course, and spectator seating. Teaching methods include practice rounds, printed material, videotaped sessions, and demonstrations. One would enjoy playing paintball over here.
