The Dead Horse Ranch State Park covers 423 acres. This park is quite ideal for mountain biking, camping and for hiking along the Verde River. One can also come to this park ideally for canoeing and for picnic fun. They can also fish in the cool water. There is also Verde River Greenway State Natural Area which is near to this park. This is home to many species of wildlife birds and animals.
