Flagstaff, a city in Arizona in United States, is the county seat of Coconino County. With a population of over 57,000 people, it was listed as ‘one of the ten great towns that will make you feel young’ by National Geographic. Visitors are attracted to its scenic forests, active social scene and its Old World charm.
Flagstaff welcomes all its four seasons with equal aplomb. Mild climatic conditions are prevalent throughout the year; moderate summers, severe winters and brief, but intense, rains and thunderstorms which are experienced during the monsoon. Its mild climate makes it a popular weekend destination.
Incorporated as a city in 1928, Flagstaff had an economic base of timber, railroad and ranching industries that has been replaced by tourism, education and transportation.
