Oatman, located to the southwest of Kingman is the perfect place to shop for striking souvenirs. Chloride, yet another town located to the northwest of Kingman, is known for its silver ore and 75 mines.

The Navajo Nation Fair is an annual fair held in the month of September that promotes Navajo beliefs and customs. The Gunfighters’ Reunion and Sidewalk Egg-Frying Contest is another annual cookery event held in the month of July.
