Overall rating: 8

Arizona has an area of 295,254 sq km and a population of more than 5 million people. The state’s capital city is Phoenix.

Arizona is located in the south-western region of the USA. It is bordered by the states of New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California and Colorado. The state also shares a 626 km international border with the Mexican states of Sonora and Baja California. Arizona is known for its varied topography; apart from the desert landscape, more than half of the state has mountains, plateaus and gorges (of which the Grand Canyon is world-renowned).

I STAY IN Old town Scottsdale every other year for vacation. I love the shopping and the arts district. There are very nice restraunts all around Old Town Scottsdale in walking distance of shops. Many of the restaurants have outdoor seating and is very enjoyable. Scottsdale is very centrally located in Arizona to head out to the various sites in Arizona. Grand Canyon a must see one time in your life. It just beautiful to just get in a car and drive to no planes area and happen on to different things. I t can be 95 to 110 in Scottsdale and a 20 minute drive away, driving up a mountain around curvy roads and pow there's a hugh lake up on the mountain with boat houses and it in the lower 70's. Or venture up to Flagstaff where it can be snowing very hard, amazing after leaving the Phoenix area...

There is a lot to do, people are friendly, and the weather is great. Spring Training is Awesome! I have never been able to see such great baseball, be so close to the field, in a great stadium and in perfect weather. I also love the World Wildlife Zoo, it is the only zoo I didn't feel guilty supporting. It is beautiful (though it looks a little sketchy from the exterior) and many animals have their run of the place. I was a little jealous of them, so many seemed to be enjoying themselves taunting the humans. The best tip I have is to have lunch (or dinner) at the zoo, they have great onion rings, but order two half orders, for some reason it's cheaper than ordering a full order.
