General opinion:  Parker can be described as a town as well as county seat with respect to La Paz County, Arizona, US. It lies along the banks of Colorado River within Parker Valley.
Parker had been discovered in the year 1908. The name was given after ‘Ely Parker’; i.e. the 1st ‘Native American Commissioner’ with regards to US government.
As per US Census Bureau, area of Parker, on the whole, comes out to be 57 sq. Km; out of which 0.05%25 consists of water.
Climate of Parker can be mentioned as that of ‘arid’ type. It’s characterized by warm winters ... More and hot summers. In winter, temperature reaches up to 50 degree F; whereas in summer, it goes up to 110 degree F. July proves to be the hottest month; whereas January to be the coolest one.
According to census conducted in the year 2000, population of Parker was 3140; with its density being 20.3 per sq. Km. Around 14.7%25 of total population was found to be below poverty line.
