Peoria is like a paradise for the shopping freaks. Tourists can get all sorts of things in these shops.
There are shops for arts and crafts, bakeries, cosmetics, books, electronic devises, departmental stores, musical instruments, home décor and jewelry.
In order to get branded stuff all under one roof, the tourists must visit Northwoods Mall. This is a contemporary mall, which is spread over two levels. Some of the well known brands like JCPenney, Eddie Bauer, Gap and Abercrombie and Firth are available in this mall.
The environment in the mall is pleasant and comfortable. The one area in Peoria which has the best shops in the city, is Grand Prairie. In this area, shops housing well known brands are accumulated together.
This area also has a movie theater which possesses 18 screens. Tourists can roam around the mall, watch a movie and then try some lip smacking delicacies at a large number of eating outlets in this area.
