All that walking, hiking, and exploring can make one hungry. Those visiting the Phoenix area need not to fear as the city is packed with take-out options for those wanting a quick, good bite to eat while on the run.
For those wanting to taste the best American food in the city, there’s American Junkie, Big Daddy’s Frankfurters for the best hot dogs in town, the Buckwild Gourmet or the Dawgfather Grill (how can you go wrong with a name like that!). For those looking for a little flavor, check out Hey Joe! Filipino Street Food, La Fronteca Comida Mexicana for the best tacos in the downtown area, or Los Cerritos for Mexican fast good.
There’s also The Phoenix Cheesesteak Company for sandwiches, subs and a Southwestern menu, Sunshine and Spice for those looking for organic take-outs, and Two Hippies Beach House for a selection of hot dogs, burgers, and tacos. Most of the take-out restaurants are located in Downtown Phoenix.
