Tourist Guide Phoenix:

Phoenix is the capital of the state of Arizona, United States. Incorporated as a city in 1881, it has a populace of more than 1,400,000 residents. Phoenix is also the sixth largest city in the United States. It is a metropolitan city with an active economy and a vibrant cultural scene.

Phoenix has an arid climate with the hottest summer temperatures. However, the dry air tempers the hot climate to a great extent. Thunderstorms are common during the monsoons, while rainfall is scarce. Snow is a rare event.

Phoenix has been one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. The early economy of this city was primarily based on agriculture. In recent times, the economy is driven by tourism, manufacturing and politics.
