First opening its doors in 1993, the Phoenix Police Museum is definitely worth a visit with some pretty interesting exhibits and displays, including a mock up of an early 1900’s police station and a 1919 Ford Model T Police Car on display. History lovers will surely enjoy their time here, as the museum has been enthusiastically well received by tourists and the community alike. It’s the perfect place for families to visit, with small children especially able to enjoy one of the city’s most fascinating historical museums.
Located on South Central Avenue in Phoenix, the Phoenix Police Museum is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Admission is free to the general public and group tours are also available. Closed on city holidays. For more information, call (602) 534-7278.
