Ahwatukee or the Ahwatukee Foothills Village in Phoenix is a rich settlement in the shape of the alphabet ‘L’. It is the southernmost of the city's 15 urban villages with the population of 85,000 residents. Phoenix took possession of the village amid1978 and 1987, but many of the Ahwatukee do not associate their region with Phoenix due to, firstly, its geographic isolation.
