The Indian village of Supai is reportedly the most isolated village in the United States and occupies the population of about 450 of the 650-member Havasupai tribe. Located about 35 air miles west-northwest of Grand Canyon Village, on the Havasupai Reservation, the village is accessible by helicopter, mule or by foot. Hikers can reach the village from the Hualapai Hilltop or from the river’s edge in case of a Colorado River boat ride.
