One of the largest historic districts in Phoenix, the Willo neighborhood is located just north of downtown between Central Avenue and 7th Avnue, from McDowell to Thomas Roads. The area has garnered positive reviews by both residents and visitors, and is an area of local pride.
The Willo neighborhood showcases a variety of architectural styles, neatly-manicured American-styled lawns and front yards and palm-tree and lamp-lined streets. The area is a model and historic neighborhood preservation and organization in the area, with home tours available and holiday-hosted celebrations and parties. There is also various retail and dining options within minutes of the neighborhood. If you want to see the quintessential American neighborhood, this place is for you.
