The Phoenix Theater is a professional theater company situated in Phoenix, Arizona.
Established in 1920, by the Phoenix Players, a theater troupe, this place is the oldest amateur playhouse in the United States. The theater was founded in Male Bartlett and Harry Behn Heard in 1922.
The New Works Festival which offers staged readings and workshops in playwriting and performance are also hosted here in this theater. This is the theater which offers programming which covers all generations.
