Quartzsite town is situated in LA Paz County in Arizona. Tourism is the major contributor to this town’s economy. It was founded in 1867 and incorporated in 1989. It is almost west of Phoenix at the junction of Interstate 10 and US 95. It is thus located near the Colorado River.

As per the Census Bureau estimates, the population in 2006 was 3,397. As of 2009, the population reached 3,497 people of which 95 people per square mile is the population density. And so, since 2000 estimates, it has had a population growth of 3.04 percent.

As per the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 36.3 square miles of land.
