Queen Creek is located in Maricopa and Pinal Counties of Arizona in US.
The city was incorporated as city in the year 1989 and has received many awards for its development inn the field of planning agricultural growth and to fro providing basic amenities. The town is a blend of traditional as well a contemporary culture.
The town got its name from the mines that is located about hundred miles from this town and named as Silver Queen. The base of the Silver queen mine there was a creek which named as Picket Post Creek. Once the Silver queen mine opened for production this creek was named as Queen Creek. Prior to this the place had a different name and was known as Rittenhouse because of the railroad that ran between Rittenhouse and Ellsworth.
The climate of this place is moderate and can be visited at any time of the year.
The population of this place comes to 4,316 according to 2000 census.
