Safford can be referred to as a city located in ‘Graham County, Arizona, US’. It’s, in fact, Graham County’s county seat. Safford is one of the principal cities of ‘Safford Micropolitan Statistical Area’; which is inclusive of every county of Greenle and Graham counties. The southwestern part of this town is encompassed with Pinaleno Mountains. As per US Census Bureau, Safford’s total population is of 20.6 sq. Km; out of which 20.5 sq. Km is land and the rest is water.
The biggest sources of employment in Safford are Wal-Mart, Freeport-McMoRan Copper and Gold, and Safford Unified Schools. Africulture has been regarded to be a major economic product. As such, a gin and cotton fields are found at various places in the city. Safford has been the ‘setting’ for ‘Lost in America’; which was penned down by ‘Albert Brooks’ in the year 1985. ‘Omens’, which has been composed by ‘Jim W. Coleman’, has also been done over here.
