Tourist Guide Scottsdale
The city of Scottsdale is located in Maricopa County in the state of Arizona, United States. It is referred to as the ‘West’s Most Western Town’ and has a population of 225,000 inhabitants.
The region was inhabited by the Hohokam Tribe till 1400AD. Thereafter, European settlement began, with the focus primarily on agriculture. The region was incorporated as a city in 1951 and has now evolved as a premiere tourist destination. In 1993, it was named ‘The Most Liveable City’ in the United States.
The city is characterised by moderate, dry weather throughout the year. Summers are warm, while winters tend to be mild. The year round beautiful climate, combined with many hours of sunshine, has made Scottsdale popular with tourists.
