Tourist Guide Sedona

Sedona is a small, picturesque town in the American state of Arizona. It is 90 minutes north of the state capital Phoenix and is surrounded by the beautiful Red Rock Country and the Oak Creek Canyon.

Apart from the red landscape, the city is also bordered by the red monoliths called Coffeepot, Cathedral and Bell Rock (so-named because of the shapes they resemble).

Sedona has a pleasant climate. The hottest time of the year is between May and September, when the temperatures can reach 33°C. The winter season is quite mild in comparison. Rainfall is around 430 mm during the year.

The town has a population of nearly 17,000 people. Sedona is a great stopover on your way to other major tourist attractions in North Arizona like the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Flagstaff and the Verde Valley.
