The Red Rock State Park is located five miles south of Sedona. The Red Rock Park is opened to the public in 1991. This park consists of a five mile network of interconnecting loops. It has 286 acres of land. This park includes a visitor’s center, classroom, theater, gift shop, hiking, picnicking, bird watching and photography. This park operates both as a nature reserve and an environmental center. In 1986, the Arizona state park of board acquired this park.
