Sedona: Attractions and more...
Sedona offers unlimited natural experiences to its tourists. There is no shortage of bike trails, hiking trails and horseback rides to take you around the Red Rock Country, especially the Cathedral Rock with its amazing view. The less adventurous travellers can hire an All Terrain Vehicle for the day.
Visit the nondenominational Chapel of the Holy Cross with its relaxing interior and an amazing view. The Out of Africa Wildlife Park, just outside the town, gives you the impression that you’ve entered a tropical paradise of animals. Also tour the twelfth-century Montezuma Castle National Monument with its museum.
To get to the Grand Canyon (one of America’s most famous natural wonders), take the Grand Canyon Railway, which is a century old train with professionally-restored bogies. Also ride the Verde Canyon Railroad which passes through a 200-m manmade tunnel and has an exciting 4-hour trip through ancient Indian ruins and cliffs.
