Sierra Vista is located in Cochise County in Arizona, USA. The city has around 45,000 inhabitants and was listed as a city in 1956.

This area was settled by the US Army.

Sierra Vista is surrounded by a number of mountain peaks giving it breathtaking scenic beauty. Some of these mountains are Mule, Dragoon and Huachuca.

Sierra Vista experiences a temperate climate. The minimum average temperature during winters (December and January) is around 2°C, and the maximum average temperature during summer (June and July) is approximately 34°C.

Sierra Vista basically has a rocky terrain with hills and mountains spread all over the city along with a lot of greenery.

It is an important city as it houses a US Army base, Fort Huachuca, and it is a popular tourist spot also because of the myriad options available for recreation. The economy of this city is primarily dependent on its service sector and the tourism industry.
