El Presidio is a historic site which was established in 1775 by Colonel Hugo O’Connor of the Spanish Army. This park is situated on Alameda, in downtown Tucson, on the site of the Plaza de las Armas.
This is also the precise place where one can see the Vietnam Veterans Memorial of Tucson. One can see Standalone sculptures, fountains and many statues here.
This park is the king of parks when there are any festivals, events or tours. One can easily roam through this fully paved park.
