When to visit
Arizona is located to the east of California, north of the Mexican border. Known to be the big icon of the Wild West and the American cowboy, this state is known worldwide for the Grand Canyon, the Indian Country and big southern cities like Tucson and the Saguaro Park other than the Tombstone, the Meteor Crater, Flagstaff and Phoenix. Arizona can be explored in autumn, though spring is the peak tourist season, when the place hosts many local festivals and events. Many can visit the south cities like Tucson, Phoenix and Tombstone in the month of September through April. If intending to explore the Grand Canyon, spring and fall are the preferable time. In order to avoid the crowd, some can visit these places in early spring and late fall. The winters tend to be mild and sunny, though it’s a popular traveling period for all. Tourists can try avoiding visiting Arizona in summer as the temperature can be unbearably hot. But if visiting the Grand Canyon, (with hotels offering reduced prices) the weekdays are more appropriate than the weekends. It is recommended that tourists avoid visiting the place between mid October till May, as the north rim facilities are entirely closed. Arizona offers the most breathtaking natural tourist experiences with many national parks, monuments other than the recreational places.
