Gann Museum
Gann museum is the sole structure all over the world to have used ‘bauxite aluminum ore’ in the form of a construction material. It had been constructed in the year 1896 for ‘Dr. Dewel Gann, Sr’. It remains open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00 to 16:00; that too, by appointment. The uniqueness o Gann museum lies in the fact that it’s the sole source for reprinted Benton Courier Centennial Edition (originally of the year 1937). It costs $30 locally. One has to shell out $35 if shipping is involved.
Shoppach House
Shoppach House was constructed in 1850s. It is the most ancient structure within the limits of Benton City. Union troops went on to have it occupied at the time of Civil World War. Shoppach can be made open to public only on special request. As such, those who love to pamper history would enjoy visiting Shoppach House. They would land themselves in to the artistic world by going to Shoppach House.
