Bull Shoals Dam and the White River are good for fishing and hiking. The place is also well known for its horse back riding in the nearby areas. Theater performances and canvas show are very popular.
Bull Shoals Caverns is a natural underground wonder for tourists, Bull Shoals Dam and Power house show turbines that produce electricity for the city. Bull Shoals Lake, White River and the Crooked Creek are a must visit because of its historical importance in the city.
Very close to the town is the township of Flippin that has the famous Blue Ridge Parkway paradise for people who love to drive. The Grabtree Falls has the highest cascading waterfall in east Mississippi River.
Some of the annual events are the historical society’s 1 bar-b-que event conducted sometime in August. The Ice- Cream Social conducted in the month of July and the annual Pig Roast, the bull shoals fire and police departments annual pig roast held in September are some other well known events.
