The Mount Nebo State Park is known as one of the Arkansas state parks two parks which offer launch place for hang gliding enthusiasts. Mount Nebo rises 1,350 feet and offers sweeping view of the Arkansas River Valley. In 1933, a portion of the mountain was chosen as a park place. To construct this amazing park, native stones and logs were used for building the trails, bridges and the pavilions of the park. The park offers almost 34 campsites.
