The Little Red River flows in north-central Arkansas. This river has three upper tributaries known as the Devils Fork, the Middle Fork and the South Fork. These three forks combine at the Greers Ferry Lake in its North Section. This section is joined to the South Section by the Narrows. At the Army Corps of Engineers hydroelectric dam close to Heber Springs, the Little Red River begins to flow again.
