The Lonoke County Museum was established in 1998 for preservation of the Lonoke County history. The museum is even chartered as a non-profit corporation by Arkansas State and has even receive the state and the federal tax exempt status. This museum has displays of the county history which includes the Battle of Brownsville details, the Civil War skirmish, a genealogy room, museum store and also an Elberts Filed display.
