The Archansas Post National Memorial
This museum basically displays buildings and the history about Arkansas Grand Prairie and Delta. There is a house which contains an audiovisual room and gift shop; there is also a summer kitchen which displays domestic tools and kitchen instruments of old. The museum is situated six miles away from the south of Gillett on the United States 165 at the junction of Arkansas. The entry fees for Adults are $3 and for the Kids, it is $2 each. It is open from 08:00 to 17:00 hours on a Tuesday to Saturday, and on a Sunday 13:00 to 17:00 hours.
The Lake Chicot State Park
The lake located is on the river Mississippi flyway, the park has some of the best bird viewing opportunities for its visitors and there is wildlife also, in addition to that it offers lake tours and levee tours. The lake is 144 miles away from the northeast of Lake Village in the Arkansas. One has to make a reservation to reach the Campsite.
The Parkin Archeological State Park
This park interprets the Parkin site of the Saint Francis River, where in a 17 acre Indian village during the Mississipi period was situated. The park has some displays of the pre-history and history of the Northeast Arkansas. The rates for the entry for an adult is $3 and for a child it is $2 each, the park has got the timings as 08:00 to 17:00 hours and on a Sunday it is 13:00 to 17:00 hours. The park is on the northern corner of the Parkin at the junction of United States and Arkansas North.
