Pulaski County is the biggest county by population in the United States of Arkansas. Little Rock is its county seat which is the capital of Arkansas and also the largest city. The city was established in 1818 along with Hempstead and Clark counties. The Pulaski County is considered as the fifth county of Arkansas

As per the United States Census Bureau, the county is spread over 808 square miles, of which 771 square miles in land and other 37 square miles is water.

The Pulaski County climate condition provides 50 inches of rain each year and 3 inches of snowfall. The number of days which has measurable precipitation is 96. Totally, there are 219 sunny days and the July month is hot with 92 degrees whereas January is coldest with 32. The normal daily mean area temperature is however 62.1 degrees.

The Population of Pulaski County as of 2000 was estimated to 361,474.  According to the census estimates, the population increased in 2008 to 675,069.
