There are two good amusement places in Texarkana; one is called Photographer’s Island and the other is called Texarkana Fun Park.

Texarkana is also known for its good museums and galleries, called Tex-Ark Antique Auto Museum, Texarkana Historical Museum and Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Center.

There are a few historic monuments as well which are worth visiting. They are Ace of Club House and U.S Post Office and Courthouse.  

Cities that are close to Texarkana are Shreveport and El Dorado. The annual festivals that are held in the city are Annual Miller Bowie quilt Show and Sale and Annual Jump Jive & Jam Fest.
