Van Buren can be mentioned as the second biggest city all across Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is also a ‘county seat’ of ‘Crawford County, Arkansas, US’. This place is situated directly on the north eastern side of ‘Fort Smith’ at Interstate 40- Interstate 540 junction. The incorporation of it took place in the year 1842.
