Alameda Museum
This museum goes on to showcase local artists of Alameda. In addition to this, it goes on to display history of Alameda on the permanent basis. Videos, souvenirs, and books regarding this history have also been made available. It is open to public as per the following timings:
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 13:30 to 16:00
Saturdays: 11:00 to 16:00
There isn’t any entry fee as such. However, donations are always welcome.
Meyers House Museum
The ‘Meyers House’ was erected in the year 1897. It exemplifies an architectural approach around turn of century. The credit for such a marvelous design goes to Henry H. Meyers. The house had been constructed by none other than Jacob Meyers, his father, by spending $4000.The 3 Meyers sisters went on to leave this house as well as grounds for it to be used as house museum and passive park.
