Catalina Island is the most popular dive destination in California having clear water and visibility ranging from 40-100 feet. Lover’s Cove is one such spot which is a short walk east from Avalon. This place is an excellent area for scuba diving. This area is almost protected marine preserve. There is also the Descanso Beach which is good for snorkeling.
