Downtown Bakersfield encompasses two streets; Chester Avenue and Truxtun Avenue. This area cannot boast of towering skyline; in spite of being home to certain tall buildings like that of Bank of America, Bakersfield Mariott Hotel, Padre Hotel, and many more. Attractions to be noted include Rabobank Arena, McMurtrey Aquatic Center, Majestic Fox Theater, etc.
