The Bakersfield Music Theater has produced for over 36 years quality musical theater. This theater is primarily with local talent and gives an opportunity for the youth to appreciate and to participate in live theater and gain experience in theater world. This theater has been presenting Broadway Musicals to the patrons since 1969. And each year, there are three big musical events which are provided on the big state of Harvey Auditorium which is a landmark art deco theater which over 1600 seats.
