Bell Gardens Library was 1st opened in 1938 at 5656 Live Oak Street but later shifted its site to the current location. The library has a vast collection of over fifty thousand books, three thousand videos, three fifty CDs, magazines, newspaper titles and local history news. The structure of the library is 5,190 square feet and is situated in the Bell Gardens civic center. The library is opened daily from 10 am to 7 pm and closed on Sunday and Monday.
