Benecia: Attractions and more...
Benecia does not have much of monuments, museums or churches to offer to the tourists but it is still considered as a happening hub of activities. The sea is close by and thus there are some water visits mandatory. There is a fine beach known as the ‘Glass Beach’. It is famous for such clear waters that a person can see his reflection like a glass. Then there is the Benecia Recreational Centre which has gained a lot of popularity in recent days. As agriculture is also carried out, the farmers set up markets on Thursday during selected months which draw large attention from the masses. Fridays do not go blank either because the shop keepers set up a festival type atmosphere with live music and much more. Even outdoor movies are shown here. One thing which is surely not to be missed is the Torchlite parade and dance which is held in the month of July. This parade contains all forms of entertainment that a person can imagine.
